Today they\u2019re apt to visit Craigslist or, even, walk the streets looking for Now Hiring signs in shop windows.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">When you leave your job seeking days behind, it doesn\u2019t mean help is no longer wanted. As Elizabeth Warren passionately told an audience last week, \u201cThere is nobody in this country who got rich on his own.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">It seemed like one of those obvious statements that we all need to be reminded of from time to time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Nevertheless, sometimes entrepreneurs are oblivious to the fact that they need help. Or they may suspect they need it, but don\u2019t know where to look. Our egos can also convince us that admitting we need help is a sign of weakness.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Help, of course, is one of those simple English words that we learned early in life. According to one dictionary, it has several meanings which include:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>1. <\/strong>To give assistance to; aid: <em>I helped her find the book. He helped me into my coat.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em> <\/em><strong>2. <\/strong>To contribute to the furtherance of; promote.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>3. <\/strong>To give relief to: <em>help the needy.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>4. <\/strong>To ease; relieve: <em>medication to help your cold.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>5. <\/strong>To change for the better; improve: <em>A fresh coat of paint will help a scarred old table.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>6. <\/strong>To refrain from; avoid or resist. Used with <em>can<\/em> or <em>cannot:<\/em> <em>couldn&#8217;t help laughing.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>7. <\/strong>To wait on, as in a store or restaurant.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Help also can be a cry when we\u2019re in trouble.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">So this month I\u2019m going to explore handy helpful resources for fueling your Joyfully Jobless Journey.
