{"id":1075,"date":"2009-04-08T12:42:18","date_gmt":"2009-04-08T16:42:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joyfullyjobless.com\/blog\/?p=1075"},"modified":"2020-11-01T13:54:09","modified_gmt":"2020-11-01T17:54:09","slug":"lost-her-job-found-herself","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joyfullyjobless.com\/blog\/2009\/04\/lost-her-job-found-herself\/","title":{"rendered":"Lost Her Job, Found Herself"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\">When I started at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, I felt that I was back in high school with a new boss.\u00a0 The work was challenging and in my position as a processor, I could do extra work to continue to achieve higher pay through getting my underwriting degrees.\u00a0 I was making a good salary and bonuses like $1600 per month.\u00a0 In 2004,\u00a0 I was chosen as 1 of the 1000 Outstanding Wells Fargo Home Mortgage employees and my husband and I were given a Caribbean Cruise.\u00a0\u00a0 Life could not have been better.\u00a0 I planned on working at Wells Fargo until I retired.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0Then something strange happened and it was only until the later part of 2008 that I finally figured out what occured.\u00a0 A new manager was hired to my department in May of 2004.\u00a0 I balked when she asked me to do something unethical.
