Barbara,
When I was in the midst of a disappointment back in 2006, I emailed you for sympathy (since you are a trusted friend!)

You emailed back and told me the following: "Moving ahead & not judging are your main assignments now." I have that phrase taped to my monitor & it has always helped!

Thanks! :-)

Peace!

Barbara,
Thanks for sharing this. I think it is very important to have some strategies in place when, not if, disappointment happens.

I like the idea of allowing yourself a little time to cry, rant, complain, etc. as long as you don't stay there.

I also agree that it helps to have people on your side who cheer you on so you don't assume something is wrong with you or your stuff.

It won't be easy but at least you know that you will get through it and move on to greener pastures.

Barbara,

Thank you for sharing the truth about the journey we take when we choose the road less traveled. Beautifully written and helpful to all of us on a similar journey.

Blessings,
