I'm stumped. It looks fine on my computer. I'll rerun the paragraph in my weekly roundup this weekend. The info is too good to miss!

Shirley, Have no idea why the last paragraph is scrunched for you. Too bad because it's a rave review of my new favorite book THE ELEMENT by Sir Ken Robinson. Brilliant book.

Yes, why do we think everything has to "fit neatly"? It's somehting we have to keep fighting ... creativity is rarely neat. And, multiple interests just makes life so much more interesting and keeps us alive in the true sense of the word.

BTW, the last paragraph is all scrunched up and illegible per my viewing. Don't know if it's true for anyone else.

Great points, Barbara! These are not only great ideas for getting unstuck in general, but good guidelines for building a daily practice as a self-employed individual. I have realized, through discussions with my clients, that often times when they are stuck it's because they don't have a good daily practice or daily process in place.

This is especially important for new the newly self-employed who are still shedding old beliefs and routines left over from past work experiences and who may not have their own permission to be creative.

By creating a vacuum, following where enthusiasm leads and practicing creative cross-training, there's plenty of space for both tasks AND desires within the space of a day.
